The Guadeloupe, a French territory located in the Caribbean islands, is unique in every sense of a word.
The Guadeloupe is an overseas department of France located in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It is an integral part of France and thus included in its twenty six regions. The Guadeloupe boasts its lively Creole culture and its blend of French and African influences. This Caribbean paradise is well known for poetic residents, being the home of the Nobel Prize winner in literature, Alexis LŠ¹ger.
